I've been following Colors With Chemistry for 3 years! My addiction to her education started with following her on IG religiously, last year I took 2 of the pre-recorded courses and this year I have taken 2 of her classes, "Foundations of Color Theory" and "Chemistry of Color". With these two classes I've been able to really look at the way I approach coloring and even my consultations with my guests. These classes by far are some of the best ones I have taken in 20 years. I've taken a lot of great classes with good information and I get something positive out of all of them but the difference between these classes and others I have taken is that your information is structured, solid and backed by science. It's not just education based on one persons experience and emotions. Also, if you don't have perfect knowledge of something you're honest which makes your education more trustworthy. As far as improvements the only thing I can add is that I love when classes have final detailed assessments of what was learned and tasks to complete which you have incorporated already. Thank you for doing all the research you do to supply such high quality education.

I just want to say how impressed I am with the Chemistry of Color Class. I feel like I'm much more clear about which tube to reach for because I know the "why". I wish I could offer constructive criticism but I can't because this class rocked!

Her knowledge is phenomenal and she teaches in a way that everything makes sense and if you don't get it, she will break it down even more. She won't leave you in any doubt! I've done 2 of her 4 hour classes and loved it! I hope there is another one. She is very unique in her teaching style as she is very visual so you can literally SEE what she is talking about.

Finding a group of like minded hairstylists is like trying to go to the furthest planet away from earth. That is what I found by taking your classes. I have found a group of hairstylists that want to hold themselves accountable for the knowledge we hold behind the chair. A mature audience who knows how to have fun while taking our career seriously in a safe and positive environment without any materialistic flashyness.
Your Zoom classes make everyone equally as vulnerable and engaged because you tell everyone to put their cameras on. Even though I was shy, it made me feel seen and pushed me out of my comfort zone.

Julie was one of the biggest blessings that came out of the year 2020 for me. I was on the hunt to dive deeper into hair education since I had the time. I came across this podcast that featured a color educator that was explaining hair color in ways that blew my mind. So I looked her up and ended up binge watching all of her Instagram and Facebook videos. I think I sent her a million DMs that day with questions and ordered hair searches so i could start applying what she was teaching. I have since taken multiple classes with Julie and I learn something new each time.
I only wish I had found her earlier in my career because the information that I have learned from her over this past year has far exceeded what I thought I knew in the past 15 years of “learning” color. I have also realized that I was told some of these things before but it never made sense or sunk in until Julie taught it the way she does with her awesome visuals and explanations.
It doesn’t matter where you are in your career or which color line you use. Julie will show you how to start wherever you are and learn your color line inside and out. You will understand how to apply it to each hair type and situation. I’m telling you, Colors With Chemistry is a game changer!
